Calling all travel junkies - Another hotel booking Engine Since I know you Travel Junkie spend most of your day at work planning your next vacation, take a look at EasyToBook.com. Barcelona - Been there and bought a bust of an Elfin Warrior. At least, that's what I think it is. Also a painting of a ram's head. Plus, the Tapas are awesome. I want to go back. Prague - Never been but heard it's great cheap fun. Real hot bed of liberal decadence. Had a girlfriend once who went and she told a tale of running drunk across a bridge full of broker glass. She didn't get cut, but had an affair. So did I, back in the states. So, we were even. Relationship didn't last though. Hmm. Wonder why. London - Food sucks, though I was only there for 12 hours because of an jet engine problem. Eva's cousin is living there now. I hear a pound of meat cost like 20 pounds. Given my appetite for beef, London is not high on my must see places. Though, I do want to see real castles eventually. http://www.easytobook.com/en/dublin-hotels/ - Dublin. Never been, but I'll fold it into the England trip whenever that happens. James Joyce is cool. Well, the short stories. I could never get in Ulysee. "It took me 10 years to write and it should take you ten years to read." Someone told me he said. Bah! New York. Since I live across the water, there is not much desire to rent a hotel room when I can just go home. Though, Bee and have stayed at the Plaza a couple of times. Once for our Honeymoon. Once when we were drunk in Manhattan, just because. The chocolate mouse was awesome, but it cost like $50.00. The last time we were there was when we had the 3J's. The Nanny spent the night and we treated ourselves to massages, some shopping and dinner in the room. At the time, you could still smoke in a smoking room. That's what we did. We ordered room service, a movie, and lay in bed smoking and watching TV, like we used to do before having 3 young boys to attend to. It was nice. Stupidly expensive. But, nice. We felt like independent grown ups again. :) Anyway, it would be great if you travel junkies would visit EasyToBook.com and leave your comments here. |
