Movies and TV are good, even if they are stupid beyond comprehension sometimes. Sometimes that's all I want: To just sit and watch some moronic thing, say like presidential debates. Watched “The Red Shoe’s” by Kim Yong-Gyun. It is a Korean horror flick along the lines of The Grudge, but a little more sophisticated with it’s characters and story line. However, the point where the story should have ended came and went. Watched Nacho Libre last night. It was very stupid and entertaining if you like Jack Black. They should have used some subtitles because one of the best jokes would have been lost if wasn’t for a translation provided by Eva and Black Bear. Jack Black called one of the orphan boys “Chancho.” Eva and Black Bear laughed and explained, “Chancho means pig.” We laughed. Unfortunately that was one of the funniest lines in the movie. Overall, it’s just a Good for DVD movie. Though, Jack Blacks lack of shame is awesome. |
