So, I’m up at the mountains and have the 3m’s with, and Bee and Bud of course.   Going fairly well, though having the boys for days on end I remember why I do not want to have kids.  They are fun, but non-stop from the moment they wake until they go to sleep.  No wonder people with kids age rapidly.  My brother in-laws both have gray hair.  In fact, Angry Accountant, we noticed the other day at McSorely’s, is all gray now.  He’s only a couple years older than me. He has three kids.  I have none, and not one grey hair. My other brother in-law, Scuba, has two kids, and is about fifty percent grey. Hmm. Last night the boys went to bed around eight thirty and I was very tempted to follow a couple minutes later.  Bee put in a movie though and I was stayed up with her.  It was Love Actually.

3M2’s language skills have improved tremendously.  Even though he still has a bit of baby goop in his mouth when he speaks, I can pretty much understand everything he says, or at least decipher it.  See what a little stability and speech therapy can do?  His mother, MIA, has been holding it together for over a year.  It’s commendable, I suppose.  I mean, let’s not forget that she disappeared for half a year into drug addiction.  The real test will be when Red gets out of jail. Hmmm

On the 26th I went to McSorely’s with my brother in-laws, as is tradition. This year we only drank sixty six beers.  Scuba was disappointed with Angry Account and I because last year we drank ninety six beers and he wanted too at least match our record.  Considering we had the boys and a big day in the city scheduled for the next, I didn’t want to have a brutal hangover.  So, I deliberately drank less.  Angry Account agreed.

The 27th we went to The City and saw the Rockettes.  I wouldn’t have gone as I’m not big on musicals and dancing, but Choo Choo bought tickets for the whole family so I was trapped.  I’m sure he took delight in that. It was a fairly painless event. Though, I was a bit disappointed with a few missteps of the dancers.  They could have been tighter in a few places.  Of course, I couldn’t do it, but then, I don’t get up on stage and declare I’m a precision dance troupe.  What I enjoyed the most was when 3M3 fell asleep in my lap and the fantastic machinations of their stage. At one point the entire orchestra pit rose to the stage level, then slid back to upstage while an ice skating rink rose from beneath the stage and took the place of the orchestra pit. Wonderful.  I want a tour of the back stage machinery.
