Was watching some young actor practice his lines and diction. Then I walked onto the sound stage which was swathed in bright green cloth and paint. Other actors were there. We were shooting a scene on blue (green) screen where everything except ourselves would be digitally created.
The table was green, the floor, and the acting blocks. Everything. It wasn’t any harder to act in that environment than on a naked stage. I’m not sure if it was my show, or I was just a principle in someone else’s show. The other cast members were practicing their lines as well, and diction, repeatedly saying with a variety of intonation tongue twisters. “Red leather, yellow leather, round the ragged rock the rascal ran, rubber baby buggy bumpers.” I woke. |
