![]() Farreys.com is an online shopping portal offering kitchen, bath and general home hardware with an emphasis in ceiling fans. While surfing we found the above ceiling fan by Minka Air. Pretty cool. It reminds me of the Jetsons and I like the name: Cirque. I wonder how it looks when on? Do the disks spinning create a blur like the rings around Saturn? Does it push air well like a regular ceiling fan? If I didn't live in a cave, which is nicely damp and cool, I might want to buy this fan. Price seems fair. Plus, the design is, at least, not the norm. Of course, if you are more conservative, be sure to explore the other ceiling fans and product they carry. Most of it seems to be traditional...boring...but, boring can be good sometimes, say like after a street riot. Imagine, you just escaped with your life after a street riot broke out, and now you are home, safe and sound, sipping an ice tea under your good, but boring ceiling fan, listening to the hum and whir of the blades...until the electricity goes out because the street riot got out of control and they're now burning down the city...but sirens are heard, the lights seen, riot police go screaming by and the rioters are calmed with tear gas and billy clubs. The electricity comes back on, you sit and relax once again and enjoy the cooling air of a ceiling fan and fantasize about living on a deserted tropical island with your best friends, Bee and Bud and the pleasantries of boredom Ah, not sure where that came from...but, if you need a ceiling fan, check out Farreys.com. |
